Cherished hand-me-down:
A diamond ring that was passed down from my great grandmother to my grandmother, mother, and now me. Throughout my life, I have seen it worn on each of their hands; wearing it now makes me feel connected to all of them.
Favorite city:
Paris.
It’s the only city I never tire of.

If I weren’t an artist, I would be…
A songwriter.
Music feels like my next art-form.
Current Obsession:
For my remodel in Shelter Island, New York, I’ve found myself wanting to create mosaic tile designs. I dream in mosaics now.

Prized possession:
My grandmother was an artist and I still have so many of her pieces including sculptures and paintings. I find so much inspiration in her work.

Favorite room in your home, and why?
I’ve been moving around a lot lately, but my favorite room in any of my homes will always be my living room in Sausalito. It’s filled with art that tells my story.
Best decorating tip or trick:
Don’t strive for perfection. Instead, make it personal. Allow patina and your house will have soul.

Favorite home accessory (throw, pillow, sofa):
Mohair throws from Spain. I like to be warm and yummy and add beautiful texture to the room.

Vacation spot:
My favorite spot to relax is Solage in Calistoga. It’s nearby so there’s always easy access to recharging on-demand.

Where do you want to travel next or the next hotel you want to stay in?
I’d love to spend more time in Spain’s Balearic Island. All arrows are pointing that direction.

Travel accessory?
My alpaca throw from Alicia Adams is a must. It works as either a blanket or a wrap, so it’s perfect for packing light.

Favorite museum:
During my semester abroad in college, I had the chance to visit The Picasso Museum in Antibes, France. It was life-changing for me because it moved me toward studying art. I never looked back.
