2022 INSPIRATIONS
For the second year, Santa Barbara Designs celebrates the work of photographer Slim Aarons, by reimagining umbrellas from his iconic photos. This year we take our inspiration from some of Aarons’ lesser-known images.
A colorful capsule collection based on three Aarons photos takes center stage for Outdoor 2022, with nods to “St. Tropez Beach”, “Poolside in Sotogrande”, and “Scone, Madam?”.

Santa Barbara Umbrellas are created entirely in their production facility on the California Coast, using locally sourced materials and vendors from the community.
CUSTOM COMPONENTS
Using solid timber, aluminum or stainless steel for frames, all wood frames are milled in their wood shop, and all metal frames are fabricated by local craftsmen who meet stringent standards. Hubs are constructed from hardwood, aluminum, stainless steel or brass. Arm connectors are custom fabricated in stainless steel or brass.
